Neighborhood connection via USB: select this option if you don’t have WiFi
Wireless Network Link – I would recommend choosing Wireless Network Connection for those who have WiFi and USB as it saves time to configure wireless printing capability in case you choose Neighborhood Connection (USB) setting
When the installation found a Firewall or AntiVirus, select “Change the Firewall port settings to allow the network link and continue with the installation”.
Select a destination location and a program folder. I usually leave this setting because it is the default.
When Select Attributes appears, make sure these attributes are SELECTED to print printing:
Network printer driver
Network scanner
ControlCenter4
Status monitor
Remote installation
PC-FAX Prevention and PC-FAX Receive are required attributes if you want to send and receive faxes from your PC.
Select the Yes option if you want to register your PC using the “Scan to” function on your MFC-9130CW.
Enter the desired title, which will appear if the “Scan To” menu is chosen on your MFC-9130CW. It is also possible to enable and enter a PIN number for security.
From the Network Search Type, choose “Search for devices in the system and select from a list of found devices (Recommended)” and also make sure that all your tablets, tablets, laptops are all linked to WiFi.
Select your own MFC-9130CW (outside of the model title) as the Canon system you would like to configure.
Click the Finish button once a dialog box indicates that the setup procedure is complete. You must restart your computer for the printer installation changes to take effect.
